This professionally managed Angus beef cattle breeding and grazing operation is one of the largest agricultural holdings in the area and prides itself in being a leading, progressive, commercial cattle breeding/fattening enterprise.
It consists of two well maintained undulating grazing properties, positioned relatively close to each other, totalling 4,000 ha. Together they boast productive soils, improved and native pastures, 750-950mm of annual rainfall, excellent water supply and outstanding infrastructure.
The properties are currently running 2,800 breeding cows and a sheep trading enterprise, with plans to continue increasing the cattle herd. A large emphasis is being placed on genetic improvement, cattle handling, grazing efficiency, and maximising production/performance. In particular, a large-scale AI program is conducted on 1,200 heifers annually, to provide the most effective genetic improvement possible in meeting our commercial breed objectives.
