Station Hand – Angus Beef Cattle (Full-time)

Craiglea Pastoral operates one of the largest agricultural holdings in the Central Tablelands of NSW, comprising two highly productive undulating grazing properties totalling 4,000 hectares.
Our livestock enterprise runs 2,800 breeding cows. Steer progeny are grown to feeder weights on fodder crops, and an intensive AI program is conducted across all maiden heifers. The properties feature productive soils, improved and native pastures, excellent water infrastructure, and well-maintained fencing. Our management team is focused on taking the business to the next level as a leading commercial operation.
We are seeking a reliable, collaborative and motivated Station Hand to work closely with the Farm Manager in a hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with implementation of the farm operational plan
- Perform livestock husbandry tasks and maintain accurate records
- Operate machinery for pasture improvement, feed conservation and supplementary feeding
- Maintain and improve farm infrastructure and equipment
- Contribute ideas and work effectively within a small team
About You
- Sound livestock husbandry and pasture management skills
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
- Mechanically minded with the ability to perform basic servicing and maintenance
- Current driver’s licence (HR or HC advantageous)
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
